Cookies and Tracking
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a little file a website drops into your browser on request. It helps that site know your device again, page after page and visit after visit.
We also use comparable tools, for example pixels and local storage. Throughout this notice, we refer to all of these as cookies.
- Session cookies vanish when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies stick to your device till their expiry date arrives or you delete them.
- First-party cookies come from Saskatoon Casino.
- Third-party cookies belong to partners running services on our pages.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
No necessary cookies, no casino. These keep the lights on.
- Holding your login in place as you move from one page to the next.
- Protecting logins and payments from fraud.
- Supporting location checks so that gaming takes place only in permitted areas.
- Remembering your cookie choices.
- Balancing traffic so the site stays fast.
No consent needed for these: without them, the site simply cannot run. Block them in your browser and logging in or playing becomes impossible.
3. Third-party cookies
Partners whose services operate on our pages set some of the cookies:
- Game studios that deliver slots and live dealer tables.
- Payment and verification partners at the cashier.
- Analytics partners who measure traffic.
- Advertising partners, only if you allow marketing cookies.
Every partner follows its own privacy policy for its cookies. We choose partners who keep data safe and use it strictly for the agreed purpose.
4. Analytics cookies
These show us what draws a crowd and what needs fixing.
- Which pages and games players open most.
- How long pages take to load.
- Where errors happen.
- How players find our site.
This data is examined in aggregate, never to track an individual. Analytics cookies are active only with your permission.
5. Functional cookies
These remember the small things so you do not have to repeat them.
- Your language and display choices.
- Recently played games.
- Sound and layout settings.
Block them and nothing breaks. Your preferences just reset, so you'll pick them again every visit.
6. Managing or switching them off
You hold the switch.
- On your first visit, you will see a cookie banner. It lets you accept all cookies, refuse optional ones or decide category by category.
- Want to switch? Cookie Settings sits in the footer on every page. Tap it and flip your choice any time.
- You can also use the privacy or security controls in your browser to block or delete cookies.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies shuts off logging in and play.
- Choices are saved per browser and per device. A new browser or device means choosing again.
7. Marketing cookies
These cookies allow us to show relevant offers on other sites and measure how well our campaigns are working.
- They run only with your consent.
- If you're self-excluded or sitting out a cooling-off pause, they never send you marketing.
- Decline them and you will still see ads online, but they will not be based on your visits to us.
Marketing cookies are separate from marketing emails. Email choices are covered in our Privacy Notice.
8. Changes
New tools, new partners, new rules: this page is updated whenever the way we use cookies changes.
- We post the updated page here with its start date.
- Where a change requires fresh consent, the cookie banner will show again and ask you to choose.
- Questions? Email help@saskatooncasino.app.
For how we handle your personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Notice.
