19+ Policy
1. 19+ only
The neon says 19+. We mean it.
- Saskatoon Casino lets only those aged 19 or older open an account, make deposits, play or take up any offer.
- Before you can deposit, we verify your age, together with identity (KYC) checks and a check of your location through geolocation.
- We market only to adults. That means no cartoon styles, no school themes and nothing designed to attract a young eye.
- Our Terms of Service forbid creating an account for anyone under 19, or allowing a person under 19 to play on your account.
Joining is possible only where your local law says yes. Canadian identity, age and anti-money-laundering rules? We follow them to the letter.
2. If we find a minor
- The account is closed straight away.
- Winnings are voided and bonus funds are removed.
- Once you prove the account is yours, and where the law permits, we send your deposits back through the method you originally paid with.
- The information is retained so that the same individual cannot open a new account later.
- If an account holder let someone under 19 play on their account, that account is closed too.
- Where fraud is involved, we act as Canadian law requires.
See something? Email us. Every tip is checked, and we keep the sender's name private.
3. How we check age
- At sign-up: tell us when you were born, plus your complete legal name and residential address. Under 19? Registration gets refused.
- Before any deposit: we match those details against trusted electronic data sources.
- When electronic checks are unclear: we may ask you to show photo ID from a government, a passport, say, or a driver's licence, and at times a selfie holding that document.
- Geolocation: checks that your current location is one where we accept players.
- Over time: payment details, device data and play patterns that suggest a younger user trigger a fresh check.
Until age is confirmed, no deposit goes through and nothing pays out.
4. Shared devices and protecting minors
Tablets on the couch. A laptop on the kitchen table. In a lot of homes, one screen serves the whole family. Keep the casino behind a locked door.
- Log out after every session. Skip the 'remember me' box on any device others use.
- Never save your password in a browser others can open.
- Lock phones and computers behind a PIN, fingerprint or face recognition.
- Protect cards, Apple Pay and banking apps so a young person cannot fund a deposit.
- Keep prepaid and gift cards out of reach.
- Keep your login details private from everyone, family members included.
- Check your transaction history for activity you do not recognize.
A minute of care at the end of the night keeps the strip adults only.
5. Parental controls and filtering tools
Blocking software stops gambling sites before they load. Two names from our help list:
- Gamban: blocks gambling sites and apps across phones, tablets and computers.
- GamBlock: blocks access to gambling sites on the devices where it is installed.
Built-in controls help too:
- Phone and tablet settings let parents restrict apps, purchases and web content by age classification.
- Plenty of home routers can shut out entire site categories on every device on the network.
- Separate user profiles on a shared computer keep adult accounts away from children.
- Most browsers offer safe search and content filters.
For young people and families, the YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program offers education on gambling and the harm it can cause, and GameSense explains how games really work. Talk early. Talk often.
6. Contact
Suspect someone under 19 is playing on an account here, or need help securing a device? Email help@saskatooncasino.app and put '19+' in the subject line.
- If you know it, please include the account name or the email address linked to it.
- Tell us what you saw and when.
- We act on every report we receive.
The lights stay on for adults. That is the deal, every night.
